| Wow!! It's almost been a year since I've updated this thing...i've pretty much moved to facebook and myspace for all online communication purposes, but this page was way outdated and needed changing. Here's a little life update: I'm still in Tulsa, working for ORU as the Northeast Recruiter. This past year has been a whirlwind of travel...i've loved it!! Getting ready to hit the road again for some events up north in a few weeks. I'm learning how to find my way around new cities and not get lost for a change ~ gps is my friend :) I've met so many awesome people on the road and many of them are at ORU now!! I'm excited to watch God get ahold of them while they're at this training ground we call college. I know my life was greatly impacted by the people I built relationships with while attending ORU...and I can't wait to watch these "new recruits" do the same. Who knows where they will GO, or WHO they will share Christ with down the road...it makes me smile to know that I have played a small part in all of that :) Well, I pray all of my friends in xanga land are doing well. Most of you I keep in contact with through other means, but if I haven't heard from you in a while...shoot me a msg. Love to you all!!! | | |
| sooo...it's been a while since I made a post...figured I'd update the world of xanga on my life. I graduated! WooHoo!!! Brazil was absolutely incredible! Had a blast with an all-star amazing team of friends...seeing the country...lovin' on the people...and watching God do BIG things in us and through us. I could write forever on the things God did...but we'd be here for a long time. Spent the rest of the summer with the fam in Texas. It was a time of rest and relaxation that was definately needed. Now, I'm out in the "real world" working...but I'm still in Tulsa :) I'm the new Northeast Territory Manager of Recruitment for ORU. It's been 3 weeks now, and I love my job! Tonight I'm on the road traveling...I have 2 high school fairs tomorrow, and another one on Tuesday. Getting paid to travel all over the Northeast and talk with teenagers about life...it's a great job! Well, there's a little update on life. Hope all of you are living life BIG and chasing after God's heart! Jeremiah 29:13 ~ Jacquelyn | | |
| Well...life is pretty much CRAZY...but God remains GOOD!!! The past 3 weeks have been the toughest of my entire life. I am being streched in the area of my faith like never before. It feels like all hell has broken loose...but you know what that means??? Something Amazing is just on the horizon!!! I know God has BIG plans in store, even though I have no clue what they are. What the Devil intends for evil, God will use for Good!!!
I'm ready to finish out this semester strong, graduate, and head to Brazil for 3 weeks with my amazing team. God is knitting us together so He can use us to minister His love to the Brazilians. I'm pumped! Let's do this guys!!

| IGNITE was awesome!!!
The weekend went so smoothly, and everyone had a great time! Our Ignite leaders and volunteers all came together to make this event the BEST!!! We all worked like a team! I was impressed with how everyone stepped it up and did whatever it took to get the job done.
The speakers were incredible!! John and Lisa Bevere, Tim Elmore, and David Salyers all did an awesome job, and worship with Jeff Deyo, Symon, and Daniel Eric Groves was amazing!!!!!
All the hard work, late nights, and early mornings definately paid off!!! This IGNITE was the best yet...but I know next year is going to blow it out of the water. I'll be excited to come bakc next year and see what God does through the new leaders. | | |
| We had some good 'ol Texas fun on Saturday night! We got all dressed up & went country dancin' at the American Legion. Just a bunch of cute old people...and us. It was a blast. We definately need to do that more often!!! | | |
